SAVED BY JESSE VENTURA

Do you remember Jesse Ventura, the Vietnam vet Navy seal turned professional wrestler turned Independent Governor of Minnesota?  He was the last speaker I got to hear at the Confidential Cures Summit this morning in Palm Beach, Florida.

He's now 68 and moving slower, but still very irreverent and transparent.  The Green Party is trying to recruit him to run for President and he went out of his way to let us all know it's a distinct possibility.  He was adamant that we need a third party president to end the partisanship in politics.

He said if he runs, it'll be a last minute thing, kind of like a surprise attack.  Let the dems and reps exhaust their emotion and money and then he'll ride in as a hybrid to save the day.  I try to stay away from partisanship in these blogs, but I couldn't help weighing in on this issue that's close to my heart.  In full transparency, for many years I've refused to vote for either republicans or democrats, choosing instead third parties.

The two dominant parties, who court inclusivity, do all they can to exclude third parties from participating in the process.  Until the Rs and Ds welcome third parties to the debates and actually respect minority views, I refuse to support either one.  Is that throwing my vote away?  No, I call it voting mindfully.

If you recall, he won the governorship as an Independent.  Both parties hated him.  He said he never spoke with any notes.  I wouldn't wear that as a badge of honor.  I prefer a little more preparation, but I get the point.  If you haven't lied and you speak from the heart, it's easier to stay on message.  When skeletons rattle in the closet, you have to be a bit more scripted.

His speech was humorous but infuriating.  The theme was supposed to be about the government's war on marijuana and all its derivatives.  He said to split it into medical versus recreational was grossly incorrect.  Is a PTSD vet taking it to calm down not taking it medically?

His main point was that as long as you make something illegal, you deprive poor people access.  You can grow a tomato plant and feed yourself.  You can keep a chicken and feed yourself.  But as soon as the government denies our ability to medicate ourselves, it takes self-determination away from poor people and gives it to those able to afford the licensed material.

If you folks thought I was a libertarian before now, you ain't seen nothin' yet.  I've sat for two days at the feet of the cutting edge scientists curing--did you catch that?--curing--diabetes, leukemia and other chronic mortal diseases with stem cells.  I'll talk more about it tomorrow but the things these folks indicated are almost like science fiction.  To think that government bureaucracy keeps people from being able to get well from horribly debilitating diseases should make us all want to pick up pitchforks and drive Washington into the Potomac.

It's unconscionable that we can not exercise control over our own bodies, to take what we want, when we want, as much as we want, any time we want.  That folks, whether Rs or Ds, think universally that bureaucrats should be able to grant permission for what I ingest, apply, inhale or inject shows that ubiquitous tyranny is in our culture.  Don't worry; it'll all be cured with 5G.

His book about this subject was written as a result of his wife's sudden problem with seizures.  After exhausting orthodox medications and the best doctors in the business, they drove to Colorado, got CBD oil, and she hasn't had as seizure since--5 years.  They don't know why they started and they don't know why they stopped, but they know the CBD oil stopped them.  In Minnesota the dose costs $600 a month; in Colorado it's $30 a month.  Remember the poor.

So if Jesse runs for President, you heard it here first.

Would you vote for a third party?
