JOEL ON JOE ROGAN
Today I'm flying back from Los Angeles after doing the Joe Rogan Experience program yesterday. You can listen HERE!
He's now testing all of his guests for Covid antibodies so I got my finger pricked by a nurse and waited the 10 minutes for the test to come back. Negative.
Now here's the interesting part. I don't have the antibodies, but that does not mean I haven't been exposed. According to the nurse, who does these tests all the time and has been exposed to countless folks who actually have the virus, he doesn't have any antibodies either.
He said your immune system has a primary and secondary wall of defense. The antibody test only shows if the virus penetrated your primary line of defense. In other words, you may be exposed to the virus numerous times but if your immune system is good enough, it never even gets through your primary defenses, in which case the antibody test shows negative.
Isn't it amazing that in all this hoopla about the technology solving the virus--vaccines, etc.--that we don't have a test that can tell the difference between exposure, non-exposure, and immunological function? It's laughable when you think about it. Joe said everyone wants to test positive to the antibodies to show that they're okay and fought it off. But if you test negative, you have no idea if you've been exposed or not. Folks, this whole thing gets weirder by the minute.
Joe Rogan, like me, has been screaming for immunity building from day one. This thing didn't develop because we lacked a vaccine, and a vaccine is not going to make it go away any more than the flu shot makes it go away. What makes it go away is to quit pummeling the planet and our food system with desecrating activities and to build our immune systems to withstand more things.
The airplane was certainly half full and the airports showed signs of positive life. The funniest thing was the safety announcements on the plane: "If we have decompression, oxygen masks will come down. Please remove your face masks before putting on the oxygen masks." Duh.
As I told Joe, we are awash in microscopic life. It comes out through our skin pores, through our clothes, floats in the air. The idea that we can hide somewhere from this thing is scientifically preposterous.
So instead of cowering in fear, how about being positive toward immunity and remediating our food and environmental damage? Those positive vibes release cortisol and heighten our immune system. Few things depress the immune system more than worry and fear. Turn off the freakin' news and plant a garden, build a chicken coop, bake a cake using real eggs. Read Dr. Seuss to your kids. Get your mind off it; dwelling on it is a downer.
Do you listen to Joe Rogan?
