ZINC OVER MASKS; BEEF OVER LETTUCE

Are you tired of masks?  Not a single scientific study shows their efficacy as currently worn.  All of the studies measuring their effectiveness use a certain kind worn a certain way and measuring droplets, but do we even know those droplets increase the risk of Covid?  No, we don't.

Here is how you would have a credible scientific experiment to prove whether or not masks work.  You would take 10,000 randomized people (that in itself is quite a task) and then have them count off ones and twos.  The ones would go to an all-day gala in a conference center, wearing no masks.  The other group would do the same in another conference center wearing masks OF THEIR CHOOSING.

Remember, bandanas qualify, cheese cloth qualifies; I've seen some pretty transparent open-fibered stuff out there.  Both groups would enter and exit at the same time to have identical time exposure and both would do the identical activity.  It could be a concert, movies, theater or yoga.  I don't really care, but whatever the activity it must be done at the same time in rooms with exactly the same configuration, same heating systems, as close to the same location as possible, same amount of electrical use and availability, built of the same materials, same ceiling heights--get the picture?

Then see what happens.  Wouldn't that be fascinating?  To my knowledge (I may be ignorant of this) nothing even close to this has been done.  The blind faith of people to follow official narratives is hard to believe.  "Follow the science" is actually about following nonsensical foolishness.  The idea that you can safely eat with the mask off but as soon as you quit you're vulnerable is simply asinine.

Which leads me to ponder this.  Zinc.  According to researchers in Spain, during March and April Covid sufferers who survived had 63 micrograms of zinc per deciliter of blood; those who died averaged 43.  Now get this; after the researchers threw out variables like age, sex, illness severity and treatments, "every unit increase of zinc in the blood was associated with a 7 percent lower likelihood of dying," according to Allysia Finley reporting on it in the Wall Street Journal.

That means if you went from the average of 43 to the average survivors' of 63, that's 20 units. The ideal number is 70.  I've taken zinc supplements for about 40 years.  It might be the most important nutrient to keep immune systems at peak function.

What's the best source of zinc?  Red meat.  You can get it from some plants and nuts, but they have metabolic inhibitors like phytates.  Has anyone done a study comparing the efficacy of a 70-unit zinc count to wearing bandanas over your nose and mouth?  I don't think so.  You see, dear people, this is the problem with government pronouncements and the war against choice (except for abortion, where choice reigns supreme).

The point is that we know something about zinc; we don't know much about masks.  So why don't government officials tell people to take zinc and eat red meat?  Why don't we encourage everyone to get tested for blood zinc counts?  No, instead we have Meatless Mondays in the schools and meat demonization from government nutrition experts.  For shame.  And we have school lunches with 23 teaspoons of sugar per plate.

This is why Covid should not be a federal government issue.  I don't want the president to do anything because it thwarts innovation and choice.  If we want diversity, let's have freedom to diversify.  You do your thing and I'll do mine and over time let the best policy win.  If Facebook and Google didn't censure stories under the guise of misinformation, we'll have a huge melting pot of diversified narratives on which to base decisions.  That's much better than pontificating from the federal government in a one size fits all tyranny.

Who do you think is most responsible for keeping you Covid-free--you or the president?
