THE DENOMINATOR

I did a fascinating guest podcast last week with Dr. Ben Edwards out of west Texas called “You’re the Cure.”  I do a lot of these but he shared something with me I’ve never heard and thought it profound.

In medical school, a formula all the students learn is the disease formula.  Here it is:

Disease =  viral numbers X viral power

                        Host defenses

Got that?  It’s a simple formula and my apologies to you folks who think viruses don’t exist.  That’s not the point of this discussion.  In math, the answer (in this case disease) would drop significantly if the denominator increases (host defenses).

If this is the axiomatic, orthodox formula learned by every student in medical school, why have most of them abandoned the denominator in this whole covid outbreak?  You’d think the first thing to go for is a bigger denominator.

Host defenses is another way to say immunological function.  So what would that look like?  Here’s my recipe:

             1.  Stop drinking high fructose corn syrup beverages (Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, etc.)

            2.  Stop eating junk food, from Frito-Lays to McDonald’s.

            3.  Eat unprocessed foods you cook from scratch from biologically-based farms.

            4.  Sweat 20 minutes a day.

            5.  Get in the sun 20 minutes a day.

            6.  Drink half a gallon of water a day.

            7.  Get 8 hours of sleep a night.

            8.  Watch only 1 hour of news a week and 5 hours of outrageous comedy.

            9.  Tell someone each day that you appreciate them.

            10.  Make a list of everyone you hate and forgive them.

Does anyone think this would compete with mRNA shots?
