NANP
I try to be judicious about promoting things on this blog, but from time to time it’s appropriate because routinely I report about something and then get feedback that “I wish I’d known about that because I would have liked to come.” So today I’m giving a shout out for a gathering we’re hosting here at Polyface Sept. 29 and 30.
The west coast may have its problems, but one of its most significant contributions to our nation is an interest in health and fitness. The National Association of Nutrition Professionals holds an annual conference each year in California (I’ve spoken there twice) and is trying to get a toe-hold on the east coast. Here’s an opportunity to support and encourage this organization east of the Mississippi. In their own words, this is how they describe it:
Are you tired of the traditional medical system? Have you been looking for alternatives for healthcare? Are you focused on sustainability, health, and wellness?
The National Association of Nutrition Professionals is the only professional business league, wholly dedicated to furthering the cause, education, and standards of the holistic nutrition industry. This organization has developed Educational Standards for holistic nutrition, natural chef training, and dietary supplement educational programs.
Our mission is to advocate for and empower a flourishing and diverse community of professionals dedicated to the principles of holistic nutrition, with a vision of a future where people choose food as their medicine.
Although we’re a nationwide organization, we’ve always held our annual conferences on the west coast, and we would like to establish our tribe in the eastern part of the country. We are excited to find a perfect partner in establishing this toehold in Polyface Farm.
Joining NANP in this inaugural gathering at Polyface Farm will introduce you to a world of expertise in nutrition, health, and wellness. This is an opportunity to interact with professional nutrition practitioners and the first best step to positive change in your health trajectory.
The agenda for this first event brings you an opportunity like no other. Giving you not only the Polyface experience but the opportunity to experience a weekend filled with workshops, and healthful meals, along with the added benefit of rubbing shoulders in fellowship with folks who can offer you invaluable health, wellness, and nutrition information that will support your lifestyle for years to come.
I don’t think I could say it better myself. Here’s the link to come…https://nanp.org/polyface-farms/. I’d love for NANP to spread its wings here in the east. Thank you.
