POLYFACE DEIGNS 7

How do you feed hay in the winter?  That's always a question folks have because they've heard about our hay shed and the boxes and pigaerators and deep bedding.  In the upcoming POLYFACE DESIGNS book, due out Sept. 21,  we diagram all the infrastructure surrounding this efficient seasonal set-up.

This week all of us involved in the book development, which includes of course the brains of the outfit engineer and former apprentice Chris Slattery but also graphics design guru Jennifer DeHoff, got to see the final pre-print files and signed off on them.

One of the big layout problems in the project was synchronizing Chris' diagrams with Jennifer's page boundaries.  Just because you make a diagram doesn't mean it fits on the page.  Jennifer had to carefully place and fit Chris' remarkable drawings onto the page so they were centered and fit.

It's not out of our hands and into the printer's inner workings.  Things are progressing.  My dad used to say "we make haste slowly."    Thank you for your patience.
